Are you on Fire for God? Check out GardenFire's Christian Apparel!

A few weeks ago GardenFire contacted me about sending me some of their Christian apparel to review since I sell and promote inspirational jewelry and being inspired!
Of course I said sure! What I received in the mail was a BIG surprise!

I LOVE it! It is super light, comfortable, and inspirational!

Yummy Smoothies for the Family and I!

Blessings loves! A while ago I blogged about taking the 10 Day Eating Challenge and I had such a great time learning about eating better and how it can effect our health.

Well, Casey of She Shines Wellness has me being conscience of the food that I purchase for my family. I love to make sure I have some healthy goodies (fruit and veggies) for

great nutritious smoothies for the family!

I love the fact that my twins are 2 1/2 and already love smoothies!!

Here are a few goodies that I picked up from the store:

Black poet's night! Recycling Black Dollars!

Blessings loves!

August 4th I had the pleasure to vend at Black Poet's Night hosted by Alikah Enterprises. The event was held at Natural Resources Salon to spread the word about Give Back, Buy Black! Give Back, Buy Black is a free website where black owned businesses can join for FREE and network with others and support other black businesses as well. We spend more for consumer products than any other racial group but our dollar circulates the least amount of times with our own. Other groups support each other and this affects the health of our communities. Now I am definitely not against supporting non-black companies, but I do see the failure to support our own AS WELL and we need to step it up! Ok, now that I am off of my soap box lol. The night was wonderful! Filled with local poets stepping up to the mic and spitting wonderful poetry! There were also several vendors there including myself. I hadn't been to Natural Resources before and loved the relaxing atmosphere and promotion of natural hair!

When you walk into Natural Resources there is this gorgeous afro painting! I love!!!

NHH's Natural You Mixer July! I had a blast!

I had a great opportunity to vend at Naturally Happy Hair's Natural You Mixer on July 30th and I had a GREAT time!! We were back at The Ensemble Theatre here in Houston, TX! I didn't take any pictures but found a few that I jumped in and a few of my lovely customers/supporters!
