A Woman's Heart...A Poetic Journey

Happy Monday everyone!

I created this beautiful cross and heart key bracelet a few days ago.

When writing a description for the bracelet I was looking for a quote that would fit and one came to mind: 

"A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
that a man should have to seek Him first to find her." 

So I began to search on the internet and saw that this is linked to beautiful poem said to be by Maya Angelou but is actually by Carol Wimmer.

I actually ended up finding out that the quote is by author, Max Lucado!

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'" 
I'm whispering "I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven." 

When I say... "I am a Christian" I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide. 

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on. 

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess. 

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect, My flaws are far too visible but, God believes I am worth it. 

When I say... "I am a Christian" I still feel the sting of pain.. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. 

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not holier than thou, I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow! 



This is such a beautiful poem and has me wanting to write again! God are you trying to tell me something??? Lol! Think I will try to find some time this week and come up with something for ya!

Go green! Trees of Green!!

Hello beautiful people!


Sitting in my bed enjoying this quiet alone time and wishing I could get some more work done. lol. I have had a cold the last few days so I hadn't been able to make too much jewelry. Boo. :-/
Yesterday I started feeling a bit better and made a few pieces to add to my spring collection! I was listening to one of the travel shows while I was making my jewelry. It was quite relaxing lol.


I have been wanting to create a new green tree of life earring set and bracelet for a while...well today I finally had time to do it! lol Here's a peak!
