4 Awesome Free Prayer Apps!

Blessings loves!

Ever felt like you have been disconnected from God? Been too busy taking care of the kids, hubby, your boss to take time to talk to God? You know He is waiting to hear from you, but your haven't made it a priority to pray and communicate with His regularly.

Well, there is hope! Being in the digital age, many of us have phones which we are constantly on. Checking emails, facebook status updates, instagram feeds, pinterest ect. Well, guess what!? I have come across some great apps that remind you to pray! Isn't that neat!? Download them to your phone and you can get notifications on your phone to remind you to pray and what to pray about. No more excuses! Check out a few of them below!

Instapray: A safe place that connects people around the world through prayers. Request prayers, share your prayers, pray for someone, and get connected! Become a part of the Instapray community and share your love, support, happiness, or struggles with the world around you.

Check it out here: http://www.instapray.com/

Prayer Mate: Helps you be faithful in prayer for the people and causes you care about.
Every day, PrayerMate will select a person or topic that you've entered from each of your main categories (perhaps "My family" or "My small group at church") and show them to you as a series of index cards - then just swipe between them to pray. It brings together prayer points you've entered manually, regular updates from a whole host of Christian charities and churches, PDF prayer letters and daily prayer pointers from "Operation World".

Echo Prayer ManagerEcho lets you keep a list of every single one of your prayers. You can add as many prayers as you want, organize them into groups, delete old prayers, and even mark prayers as answered so you can see how God is working (and remember to thank Him!).

You can easily set up push notifications or emails to remind you to pray for individual prayers, or even groups of prayers. Reminders help you engage with God throughout the week, even when you find yourself busy with life.

Echo gives you the ability to "Pray Now" which gives you a clear, focused way to pray. Choose what you would like to pray for and optionally set a timer for how long you want to pray.

Prayer Prompter: (This one seems a little harder to navigate but I think I like it!) Prayer Prompter is like a two drawer file cabinet. The top drawer stores and organizes Scripture passages in folders by topic. It comes with 650+ passages from the New American Standard Bible already installed and more can be added. You can change the passages to another version if you want and even delete the passages you don’t like. The bottom drawer stores and organizes prayer requests and answers to prayer in folders.

Faith Over Fear Action Step to Take Today!

Blessings loves!

Have you ever been afraid to do something but never stepped out and done it? Went over the worse case scenarios over and over and over again until it paralyzed you? I must say I am guilty of this. But guess what? The only way to overcome our fears is to trust God and TAKE ACTION! Only then will we know what we are really capable of in our faith! In my post, 4 Ways to Overcome Fear with Faith, taking action is the last step! Are you ready to take action!? Check out these tips below!

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
-James 2:6

1. Believe in Yourself - In order to step out in faith, you should have the belief that you can do so. Why? Because God created you for this purpose! Take actions that show that you are confident in the child of God you were created to be!

For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. -Eph. 2:10

2. Live in a way that shows you believe in God - Don't go around complaining about yourself and your circumstances. This shows lack of faith in what God created and how He is helping you grow. All of this happens for a reason. Trust in Him!

3. Listen to God - When God gives you instruction, don't ignore it! If you don't listen the first time, your test will come back around over and over again. Can I get an Amen!? lol

4. Commit Fully to God & Do What He Says - What ever it is, do it! It may be hard but it will require a full commitment to God. After that you will reap His promise! Sometimes we want to do it our way but still reap the blessings. It doesn't work that way!

Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.
He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
And your justice as the noonday. -Psalm 37: 4-6

What faith action steps are you taking today?

13 Scriptures to Help You Overcome Fear

Blessings Loves!

Have you ever read something and it inspired you? Made you smile and ready to take on anything? Talk about faith over fear! Oh yeah! In my last post I talked about 4 ways to overcome fear. One of those ways is to study scripture. So I wanted to share some with you! Hopefully these scriptures will do just that!

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” Psalm 56:3

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

“Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.” John 14:27

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.” Psalm 55:22

“Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?” Luke 12:22-26

“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1

“Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.” Proverbs 29:25

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”…He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you…For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways…“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him…” from Psalm 91:1-16

“'For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Do not be afraid, for I myself will help you,' declares the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.” Isaiah 41:13-14

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1

These fears are a distraction and God doesn't want us living in fear. He calls us to walk by faith! Today I am sharing a few ways to overcome your fears by strengthening your faith.

For we walk by faith, not by sight. -2 Corinthians 5:7

1. Pray
Pray and ask God to show you how to overcome your fears. When you feel afraid, talk to Him at that moment to help you conquer your fear. No excuses! Your constant communication with God will help tremendously!

2. Study Scriptures
Read scriptures of people who have gone through things similar to what you are going through. Read inspirational scriptures that will reverse your mindset from one of fear to one of faith.

3. Faith Affirmations
Repeat positive affirmations through the day to combat your fears. Post them in you home, office, even in your car if need be!

4. Take Action
